"Wayang Kulit" or Shadow Play is an old culture entertainment using a carved puppet and uses the elements of light and shadow. The shadows of the statues of the skin consisting from a variety of characters and fantasy conduct by the puppet master. Wayang Kulit performances are often accompanied by a scourge of the music or gamelan and blowing device (flute), or stringed instrument (fiddle).
Normally, shadow play will be held on the certain occasion such as :
i) Teachers serve Events
ii) Cure the sick people
iii) The ritual worship the spirit
iv) During the Harvest Festival or the Festival Village
v) To the Kings Birthday celebration
vi) Just for entertainment only
Wayang kulit performances are divided into music, speech and reaction. Usually, when the puppet talking, the music stopped playing for a while. At the time of the puppet speak only a few that we can see, and if the "tok dalang" or puppet master wants to set his puppet to walk, then we can see all parts are moving together. Not everyone can be a 'tok dalang' or puppet master. It takes skill to handle the puppets with both hands, sing and tap the kechrek (rattle) with one's foot to signal the musicians and to change the tone of one's voice to suit the various characters.

Introduction of each movies of this type are on the East Coast, especially in Kelantan and
Terengganu. However, the numbers are very limited.
There are 5 types of stories based on episodes from the epic Mahabharata, especially the story Pendawa Lima. The show is influenced by the stories of Pennant.
Puppet in the terms of movement, it shows similarities to the Purwo's show that their puppets
can move both hands. Puppets are fun to be identified by the position of the head. Puppets good character usually from their heads down and their shape is small and beautiful. Puppet of gross and cocky character is usually a big-nosed and looked on.
Musical Instruments :
Music tool consists of a fiddle, cymbal six seed, two seeds gong
large, a mong beans, two pieces of drums and a pair of whispering.
